Black Crowes to Launch Web Series, Release New Album on Tuesday

To commemorate their 20th anniversary as a band, The Black Crowes will launch a new web series called "20 Years of Tall Tales” on August 3rd. As reported several months back, that’s the same day the band’s new double-disc acoustic album, Croweology, arrives. Throughout August, the Crowes will roll out one new webisode a day at their official website. “20 Years of Tall Tales” seeks to address everything from the volatile relationship between lead singer Chris Robinson and his brother, lead guitarist Rich Robinson, to why the band was fired from the Aerosmith tour and then reinstated. The series was filmed at Chris Robinson’s Los Angeles home and directed by John Vanover.

The Black Crowes will kick off their Say Goodnight to the Bad Guys tour August 13th in Milwaukee and end it with a six-night stand at the Fillmore in San Francisco in mid-December. The band plans to go on an indefinite hiatus following the trek.
