Ozzy Osbourne has revealed he is undergoing “intense therapy” for a sex addiction that nearly resulted in the disintegration of his marriage to wife Sharon.

In a statement to People, the singer’s representative said, “Over the last six years, Ozzy Osbourne has been dealing with a sex addiction … Ozzy is mortified at what his behavior has done to his family. He thanks God that his incredible wife Sharon is at his side to support him.”

In recent months, Osbourne had been rumored to be involved in an extramarital relationship with hair stylist Michelle Pugh;People writes that the affair lasted four years. In May, Ozzy Osbourne moved out of the family’s marital home, signaling an end to his and Sharon’s 34-year-old marriage.
