The Memphis Grizzlies have parted ways with announcer Rick Trotter after a warrant for his arrest was issued Tuesday, officials confirmed.

Memphis police issued a the warrant Tuesday for Trotter, 40, on a charge of photographing persons without consent. The details of that charge were unknown Tuesday.

Trotter was an independent contractor with the Grizzlies, who said Tuesday that he in no longer affiliated with the organization.

“Rick Trotter is no longer affiliated with the Grizzlies organization. We have no further comment on the matter,” the Grizzlies said in a statement.

The Downtown Church also announced Tuesday that they fired Trotter earlier this year after misconduct of a “sexual nature.”
